Norval Rhodes and Emmanuel Green were among the main playmakers for Cedar Grove as the former scored 15 points and the latter scored 15 points. Green hasn't dropped below 15points for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathaniel Loyd, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Tri-Cities strolled past Jackson with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 78-61. The victory was all the more spectacular given Tri-Cities' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while Jackson is ranked 20th).
Cedar Grove has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Tri-Cities, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
