Harvester Christian Academy added to the longest winning streak in Independent Christian of GA/AL (8 Man) this week by beating Heritage Christian, 36-30. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Hawks.
Holy Ground Baptist Academy took down Ballard Christian 63-30 last week, the largest margin of any game. Markys Agan ran for 146 yards and caught 1 pass for 16 yards during the win.
Ballard Christian's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jarrett Scott threw for 250 and 3 touchdowns and Cole Clark had 157 yards receiving. On the ground Scott chipped in 182 yards. Dalton Starling helped Ballard Christian's passing attack out by catching 11 balls for 93 yards.
He went 20-30 with 1 interception.
Scott was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 182 yards as Buddy Hammock's team lost to the Stallions.
The most important game in the league this week will be the match up between Harvester Christian Academy and Lafayette Christian. Jeff Reagan's team comes into the matchup ranked third in the state, while Lafayette Christian ranks 10th.
Nick Nehring's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 951 from 1,017. The advance stemmed from a 39-38 victory over Praise Academy last week.
