Adding to the longest winning streak in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division IV this week, Andale beat Augusta 73-6. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
The Orioles fell to Andale 73-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Chaydon Carter was a bright spot for Augusta, as he ran for 42 yards and caught 2 passes for 19 yards in the defeat.
Collegiate's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Landon Root threw for 203 and 4 touchdowns and Bret Waddell had 77 yards receiving. On the ground Seth Carder chipped in 163 yards. Jack Copher helped Collegiate's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 51 yards.
He went 14-22 with 0 interceptions.
Root put up the best numbers in passing as the Spartans defeated Clearwater. Root's favorite target this week was Waddell, who caught 5 passes for 77 yards.
Collegiate's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Root has thrown for 1,146 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Waddell has 34 catches for 467 yards.
