Despite the loss, Carrizo Springs had strong showings from Ysella Hinojosa, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and eight steals, and Adisyn Reyes, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Hinojosa is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maryssa Perez, who scored eight points.
Pleasanton is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-14 record this season. As for Carrizo Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-10.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Devine the next time they take the court. Carrizo Springs will head out to face Devine at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Pleasanton will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
