Zak Abdalla continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Foothill, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The contest was Abdalla's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Corbin Putnam was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas' defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Foothill, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Mater Academy East Las Vegas will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Arbor View at 6:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Foothill won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Orem at 10:30 a.m. on December 21st. Orem is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
