A Season-Best Performance from Jayden Jackson Leads Franklin over Troy
On Friday, Franklin got the W thanks in part to Jayden Jackson playing the best football he has all season. Jackson rushed for 286 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 17.9 yards per carry. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in December of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Jackson must have Troy's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Jackson rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.

C.H. Yoe Gets a Boost from Grice in 55-27 Win
Tim Grice helped snap C.H. Yoe's five-game losing streak. Grice turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, picking up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 92 yards.
C.H. Yoe's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Grice and C.H. Yoe will look to defend their home field on Friday against Troy at 7:30 p.m.

Sheppard Came Up Big in Rockdale's 42-35 Loss
Rockdale was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Erik Sheppard did his best to prevent it. Sheppard was dynamite, picking up 124 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Rockdale's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-3. Sheppard and Rockdale will face off against McGregor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Brody Allen Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Little River Academy got the W thanks in part to Brody Allen playing the best football he has all season. Allen rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt.
With the win, Little River Academy broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5. Allen and Little River Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Troy at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

Radyn Hamilton Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Sadly, Radyn Hamilton posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Rockdale over Little River Academy on Friday. Hamilton rushed for 59 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles.
For the year, Hamilton has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 29 rushing yards per game.
