Dixie Heights is a perfect 10-0 against Ludlow since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Colonels will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Dixie Heights has three straight victories, Ludlow has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Wednesday, Dixie Heights was able to grind out a solid win over Lloyd Memorial, taking the game 8-3.
Owen Stulz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Dixie Heights is 4-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 10-11 otherwise.
