West Platte took care of business in their home opener. They steamrollered Lone Jack/Kingsville 46-0. West Platte was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving West Platte a 1-0 record and starting Lone Jack/Kingsville off at 0-1.
Next week, West Platte take on South Harrison at 7:00 PM. As for Lone Jack/Kingsville, they will face of against Wellington-Napoleon.
