Boyd Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 33 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Dickson Academy 61-21 at home. With Boyd Christian ahead 42-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Boyd Christian found their leader in underclassman Brooke Kesey, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Paige Sweeten, who scored ten points along with five assists.
Riverside Christian Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.2 points per game. As for Boyd Christian, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Riverside Christian Academy was dealt a bruising 62-23 defeat at the hands of Boyd Christian in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Riverside Christian Academy was down 37-15.
