After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elite, the John Adams Academy Patriots were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Patriots out 63-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Isaiah McKee continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 14 rebounds. McKee is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Luciano Allen, who scored 16 points along with six steals.
The Patriots now have a winning record of 8-7. As for the Patriots, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Adams Academy will take on Leroy Greene Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. John Adams Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pine Hills Adventist at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Hopefully Pine Hills Adventist focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 last Wednesday.
