This season hasn't been kind to The North Wilkes Vikings, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. Their rough 40-20 defeat to Forbush on Friday might stick with them for a while. North Wilkes was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Forbush apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Bryson Taylor went supernova for Forbush, rushing for 149 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Taylor was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards. Another player making a difference was Mckinley Reavis, who picked up 161 receiving yards and a touchdown.
North Wilkes' loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. As for Forbush, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.
North Wilkes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Forbush also has no future games currently scheduled.
