Kenny Jager's Big Game Leads Chicago Christian over Christ the King
Starting off the list is Chicago Christian's Kenny Jager, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jager rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
The win was the fifth in a row for Chicago Christian, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Jager and Chicago Christian will head out to challenge Aurora Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Flutman Posts Huge Game in 42-0 Win
Christian Flutman's big game helped extend Chicago Christian's winning streak to five on Friday. Flutman was dynamite, throwing for 163 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 34 yards.
Unfortunately for Christ the King, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Flutman. Flutman rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Gladiators duked it out back in October of 2023.

London Leflore and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
London Leflore was instrumental in extending Wheaton Academy's winning streak to seven on Friday. Leflore was dynamite, rushing for 25 yards and two touchdowns.
Wheaton Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Leflore and Wheaton Academy will venture away from home to take on Marian Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

St. Edward was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Luis Vargas did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Vargas as he made five total tackles.
