The Jefferson Silver Foxes will venture away from home to face off against the Andress Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.7 runs per game this season.

Jefferson will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Canutillo, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Silver Foxes walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Eagles on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Silver Foxes.

Yazmeen De La Paz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, Jefferson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sakae Arnette, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Helen Osornio was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Andress was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Chapin, falling 15-0.

Andress' defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 17-3-1.

Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Jefferson hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .512. However, it's not like Andress struggles in that department as they've averaged .373. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Everything went Jefferson's way against Andress in their previous matchup back in February, as Jefferson made off with a 16-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silver Foxes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
