Glacier Peak has gone a perfect 7-0 against Arlington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Grizzlies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Glacier Peak has eight straight wins, Arlington has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Glacier Peak proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Jackson 4-2.

Emma Hirshorn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lauren Hufford, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Briannica Titus, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Arlington didn't have quite enough to beat Lake Stevens on Monday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.
Arlington saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camryn Zodrow, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.
Glacier Peak's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Arlington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
Arlington's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Glacier Peak hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .347. It's a different story for Arlington, though, as they've only averaged .192. Will they be able to contain Glacier Peak's hitters?
Glacier Peak took their victory against Arlington when the teams last played back in March of 2019 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
