The Pine Ridge Panthers lost against the Deltona Wolves back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Pine Ridge took a serious blow against the Wolves, falling 56-18. Pine Ridge has not had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Pine Ridge's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaylee Roman, who scored six points along with six rebounds and six steals, and Serenity Cressor who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds. Roman hasn't dropped below three steals for seven straight games.
Deltona found their leader in underclassman Iniya Reddicks, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine steals. Reddicks hasn't dropped below two steals for 19 straight games. Another player making a difference was Shenell White, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Pine Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Deltona, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
Pine Ridge will face off against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Deltona is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Panthers in Florida (the Wolves are ranked 113th, while the Panthers are ranked 472nd). As for Deltona, they will be playing at home against the Commanders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
