Even though the Mogadore Wildcats have not done well against the Southeast Pirates recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Mogadore secured a 37-33 W over Southeast. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mogadore.
Mogadore got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Olivia Kidd out in front who scored three points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Mcintyre, who scored 16 points.
Mogadore's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Southeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
Mogadore will square off against Crestwood at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Crestwood is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Southeast, they will be playing at home against Ravenna at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Ravenna is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
