Among those leading the charge was Camille Collado, who had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last ten matchups.
Collado wasn't the only good servers: Mira Mesa was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. The Marauders are 13-6 when they serve at least ten aces.
Meanwhile, Madison came up short against Clairemont on Friday, falling 3-0. The Warhawks have struggled against the Chieftains recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Madison was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-22, 25-21.
Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Mira Mesa, their win bumped their record up to 17-14.
Everything went Mira Mesa's way against Madison in their previous meeting back in September, as Mira Mesa made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Marauders repeat their success, or do the Warhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
