Big Game from Franco As Washougal Won 45-6
Elijah Franco's big game helped extend Washougal's winning streak to three on Friday. Franco did his part (and then some), forcing a fumble and making 12 total tackles (1.0 for loss) for the 'W'. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Washougal is 4-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
Franco and Washougal will look to defend their home field on Friday against Hockinson at 7:00 p.m. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Hawks, probably because Franco had a solid game then too: he made six total tackles and snagged two interceptions. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
