Softball Recap: Fulton Wins Going Away Against West Carroll

While Fulton put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for West Carroll. The Steamers blew past the Thunder 10-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-2 last Tuesday.

Fulton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for West Carroll, their loss was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Coming up, West Carroll will take on Warren/Stockton in a tournament on Saturday. Fulton will be paying especially close attention to the Thunder's contest: after the Thunder faces off against the Warhawks, they'll take on Fulton again on Saturday.
