Beaver Local won the last time they faced St. Clairsville and things went their way on Monday too. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Beaver Local Beavers made off with a 40-39 win over the St. Clairsville Red Devils. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Beavers.

Beaver Local's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-5. As for St. Clairsville, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaver Local will take on Minerva in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Clairsville and Martins Ferry will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
