The First Assembly Christian Crusaders's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Evangelical Christian 66-19 at home. The win was just what First Assembly Christian needed coming off of a 69-48 loss in their prior matchup.
First Assembly Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Danae Kennedy out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. The game was Kennedy's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Marlena Davis, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds.
First Assembly Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Evangelical Christian, they bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Lausanne Collegiate the next time they take the court. First Assembly Christian will host Lausanne Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Evangelical Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
