Episcopal School of Jacksonville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Bolles 11-5. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Riley Valent made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Episcopal School of Jacksonville got a massive performance out of Chelsea Dever, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI Dever has posted since back in March. Amelia Oreair was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Episcopal School of Jacksonville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bolles only posted a batting average of .192.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Providence School). They put the hurt on Andrew Jackson with a sharp 13-1 victory on Tuesday. The Stallions not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 7, 2024 (when they won 16-2).
The team relied heavily on Elle Burns, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Stearns, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Episcopal School of Jacksonville's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Providence School, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.
Providence School's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Episcopal School of Jacksonville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. It's a different story for Providence School, though, as they've only averaged .233. Will they be able to contain Episcopal School of Jacksonville's hitters?
Episcopal School of Jacksonville was able to grind out a solid victory over Providence School in their previous meeting back in February, winning 16-12. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Stallions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
