Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 66-53 victory over the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North to victory, but perhaps none more so than Devin Thomas, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 17 points and five assists. That's the most assists Thomas has posted since back in January of 2024. Yusuf Aulakh was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in eight consecutive contests.
