The Northside Indians fell victim to the Knox City Greyhounds''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 62-0 loss at the hands of the Greyhounds. Northside has struggled against Knox City recently, as their match on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Knox City was led to victory by Cameron Hernandez and Bryson Callaway. Hernandez gained 73 total yards and two touchdowns, while Callaway threw for 86 yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. Tristin Baxter was in the mix as well, providing Knox City with two touchdowns.
Northside's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Knox City, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside will challenge Spur at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Spur is ranked 143rd, while Northside is ranked 134th). As for Knox City, they will head out on the road to face off against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
