If the Boca Raton Christian Blazers were feeling good off their 59-37 takedown of the FAU High Owls on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Boca Raton Christian fell 65-57 to the Eagles on Tuesday. Boca Raton Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Boca Raton Christian still got an impressive performance from Jack Good, who went 7 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Good has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Barton, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Boca Raton Christian's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boca Raton Christian will take on the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Abundant Life Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 last Monday. As for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st. Scheck Hillel Community School is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
