Everett took a 29-point defeat the last time they faced off against Shorecrest, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Seagulls made off with an 8-7 win over the Scots. For the Seagulls, this counts as revenge for the 35-6 victory the Scots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
Leading Everett to victory were Ian Lorio and Kai Schmidt. Lorio rushed for 93 yards and one score, while Schmidt picked up 60 receiving yards.
