You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Pickford's strategy against Newberry on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Panthers blew the Indians out of the water with a 53-6 final score. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

The victory (which was Pickford's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.7 points on average this season. As for Newberry, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
