The Lindbergh Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Sammamish RedHawks at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Lindbergh blew past the Wolverines, posting a 46-17 victory on the road. The win was just what Lindbergh needed coming off of a 59-25 loss in their prior game.
In what's become a running theme this season, Sammamish gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 54-16 win over Renton on the road. The win was familiar territory for Sammamish who now have five in a row.
Sammamish found their leader in underclassman Sophia Eastman, who scored 23 points along with six steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Eastman has scored at least a third of Sammamish's points. Another player making a difference was Raya Hildebrand, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Lindbergh's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Sammamish, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6.
Lindbergh suffered a grim 47-24 defeat to the RedHawks when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Eastman, who scored 30 points along with six steals.
