The Arapahoe Warriors lost against the Cherry Creek Bruins back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Arapahoe fell 56-44 to Cherry Creek. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Arapahoe in their matchups with Cherry Creek: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Arapahoe still got an impressive performance from Cass Henry, who scored nine points.
Arapahoe bumped their record down to 7-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Cherry Creek, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7.
Arapahoe will take on Grandview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Grandview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Wednesday. As for Cherry Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mullen at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Mullen's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests.
