Softball Recap: Archbishop Spalding Has No Trouble Against Catholic

Archbishop Spalding never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on Catholic with a sharp 15-0 victory. The matchup marked the Cavaliers' most dominant win of the season.

Brynn Fryer looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Cayleigh Spear was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those runs marked the first that she scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Codi, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Archbishop Spalding now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
