Football Recap: Priory Piles Up the Points Against California School for the Deaf

Priory's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 67-30 win over the California School for the Deaf Eagles. The Panthers pushed the score to 61-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Priory was led to victory by William Guo and Michael Hildebrandt. Guo gained 106 total yards and four touchdowns, while Hildebrandt threw for 164 yards and four TDs on only 14 passes. Those 164 passing yards gave Hildebrandt a new career-high. Simon Soltes was in the mix as well, providing Priory with one score.

The victory got Priory back to even at 1-1. As for California School for the Deaf, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Priory will challenge Hillbrook at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for California School for the Deaf, they will square off against Indiana School for the Deaf at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
