Despite the loss, Colon got top-tier performance from Dominick Mock, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten rebounds. Boyles is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Cole, who posted ten points, to go along with eight boards and six steals.
Having lost for the first time this season, Colon fell to 2-1. As for Burr Oak, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Colon was able to grind out a solid victory over Burr Oak in their previous meeting back in February, winning 52-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Colon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
