It was a good run, but Lamar unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to the McBee Panthers. The game marked the Silver Foxes' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Lamar's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for McBee, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

While Lamar had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
