Minor lost against Wenonah last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. The Minor Tigers took  a  54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wenonah Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings  (they are ranked 161st, while the Dragons are ranked 37th).
  Samarian Franklin was  her usual excellent self,  going 9 for 21  on her way to 26  points in addition to eight  rebounds and six  assists for Wenonah. That makes it seven consecutive games in which  Franklin has scored at least a third of Wenonah's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aariyanah Parker, who  posted six points along with 14  boards and four  blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for Minor and  nudges their season record down to 3-8. As for Wenonah, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minor will host McAdory  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Wenonah, they will welcome Sipsey Valley  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Wenonah is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61  points per game  this season.
