Bayard have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Sutherland on the road at 6:30 PM on Friday. Bayard are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
Bayard were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against Cambridge two weeks ago. Bayard suffered a grim 14-46 defeat to Cambridge. Bayard were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 7-30.
Meanwhile, Sutherland made easy work of Southwest last Friday and carried off a 44-12 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for Sutherland.
Sutherland's win lifted them to 2-1 while Bayard's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Sutherland can add another positive mark to their record or if Bayard can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Sutherland's step.
