Landen Derouen posted a new career-low in earned runs on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Erath's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 7-8-1 when he doesn't).
