Lourdes never let their opponents score on Saturday. They came out on top against the Chatfield Gophers by a score of 4-0. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.
Easton Gasner made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Gasner was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Nicholas Bowron was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one double.
Lourdes' victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Chatfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.
