Softball Recap: Smithville Wins Going Away Against West Lowndes

While Smithville put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for West Lowndes. The Smithville Seminoles put the hurt on the West Lowndes Panthers with a sharp 15-0 win. The Seminoles haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Smithville's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for West Lowndes, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Smithville will face off against Walnut at 5:15 p.m. on March 13th. West Lowndes will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Houlka at 5:00 p.m. on March 31st.
