Tate Foreman Puts an End to Thunder Ridge's Losing Streak on Friday
Thunder Ridge's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Tate Foreman. Foreman did his part (and then some), rushing for 173 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also throwing for 178 yards on 14 of 21 attempts for the 'W'.
Thunder Ridge's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Foreman and Thunder Ridge will head out to face off against Pike Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Thunder Ridge's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Jimmy Escobar
Thanks in part to Jimmy Escobar, Thunder Ridge said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Escobar turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, rushing for 127 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making 16 total tackles.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Cooper McDill stepped things up a notch to give Rock Hills the 'W'. Washington County had no answer to McDill as he threw for 116 yards and three touchdowns on only eight passes, and also picked up 64 receiving yards. McDill's longest reception was for an impressive 64 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
On the year, McDill has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 65 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 35.17 passing yards per game.

Ryder Allen Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, St. John's/Tipton Catholic had to settle for second even though Ryder Allen put up the best numbers he has all season. Allen forced a fumble, made 23 total tackles, and defended a pass, good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Allen is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Pike Valley on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Allen saw the Panthers), he picked up three sacks and made five total tackles (5.0 for loss).
