Oceanside Collegiate Academy extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 14-3 in the process. They blew past the May River Sharks 11-5. Considering the Landsharks have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

As for May River, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For May River's part, Fergus Varley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Gustavo Gomez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-5 defeat against Greenbrier Christian Academy on the 17th. May River has also already played their next match (against Pinewood Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
