On Thursday, Almeta Crawford came up short against Alief Taylor and fell 48-39.
Nathan Kongolo was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with nine steals and five rebounds for Alief Taylor. The team also got some help courtesy of Mar'jon Leon, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Almeta Crawford's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Alief Taylor, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Almeta Crawford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Alief Taylor and Dawson will face off at 1:00 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Dawson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
