On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, BigTyme Prep Academy beat Empowering Others Prep 56-51. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Kings: they've now won four in a row.

The match was Ibekwe's 19th in a row with at least 15 points. Jude Sarrett was another key player, putting up two points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Xavier Educational Academy came tearing into two weeks ago's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 69-45 victory. Xavier Educational Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Xavier Educational Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 20.2 points. As for BigTyme Prep Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 20-12.

BigTyme Prep Academy might still be hurting after the 74-54 loss they got from Xavier Educational Academy when the teams last played back in January. Can BigTyme Prep Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
