Basketball Recap: Luther Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Luther extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Gavin Milligan. The Luther Lions managed a 54-49 win over the Oklahoma Christian Academy Eagles on Friday thanks in part to Milligan, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Luther's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Oklahoma Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luther will head out to face off against Community Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Luther is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season. As for Oklahoma Christian Academy, they will face off against Christian Heritage at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
