The Highland Rams lost against the Timberline Wolves back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Highland took a serious blow against Timberline, falling 66-28. While losing is never fun, Highland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Timberline is ranked 34th).
Despite the loss, Highland had strong showings from Rian Pokibro, who scored 12 points, and Gracee Anderson, who scored 4 points. Pokibro scored a full 42.9% of Highland's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Highland has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 1-6 record. As for Timberline, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Highland has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Pocatello at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. Timberline will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Eagle at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th.
