Wheaton North is 7-1 against Glenbard South since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Wheaton North will look to defend their home field against Glenbard South at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

If Wheaton North beats Glenbard South with ten runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Wheaton North didn't even let West Chicago on the board on Friday, marking Wheaton North's second-straight 10-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Wheaton North got a massive performance out of Makayla Grantz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Crosthwaite, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Grantz wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Wheaton North kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Glenbard South ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Larkin with a sharp 9-3 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Raiders have posted against the Royals since April 29, 2021.

Wheaton North's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Glenbard South, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Wheaton North took their win against Glenbard South in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 12-3. Will Wheaton North repeat their success, or does Glenbard South has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
