The Trenton Tigers stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Dixie County 59-26 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Trenton who now have eight in a row.
Trenton found their leader in underclassman Kayley Sloan, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Karanja, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
Trenton's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Dixie County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.
Trenton will head out on the road to take on Hawthorne at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hawthorne will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. Dixie County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
