The biggest upset of the week belonged to Walled Lake Central, who took down 214th ranked Lakeland, 50-0.
The Vikings were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Kensington Lakes - North. Earlier in the week, Walled Lake Central triumphed over the Eagles 50-0.
Walled Lake Western's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kyle Bambard threw for 79 and 1 touchdown and Steven Meister had 68 yards receiving. On the ground Torrez Nesbit contributed 202 yards. James LaLonde helped Walled Lake Western's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 10 yards.
Nesbit was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 21 carries, he ran for 202 yards as the Warriors bested Mott. Teammate Bambard added to the ground attack by rushing for 127 yards.
Walled Lake Western's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bambard has thrown for 1,140 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Jonathan Simmons has 20 catches for 439 yards. Bambard also leads the league in rushing with 518 yards.
A big matchup in Kensington Lakes - North this week will be when Walled Lake Western takes on the Vikings. At the moment, Michael Zdebski's team is in first, while Walled Lake Central is in fourth.
The Warriors added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Corsairs, 35-14. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
