On Saturday, Cloverleaf didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cornerstone Christian, but they still walked away with a 41-36 victory.
Cloverleaf found their leader in underclassman Evie Barth, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Merrin Crow was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Cloverleaf's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-6. As for Cornerstone Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Cloverleaf will stay at home for another game and welcome Ravenna at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. Ravenna is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Orange at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Orange will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 590th, while Cornerstone Christian is ranked 284th).
