Southington's Tyler Hyde rumbled for the longest rushing play in Central Connecticut I West this season in his game against Conard last week. Hyde's team bested the Chieftains as he sprinted for 57 yards on the play and finished with 63 in all.
Southington extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Conard, 42-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for Mike Drury's team.
The Blue Knights' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Stephen Barmore threw for 225 and three touchdowns and Anthony Bonefant had 141 yards receiving. On the ground Jarrid Grimmett chipped in 126 yards. Corbin Garry helped Southington's passing attack out by catching three balls for 46 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Barmore of Southington is the league leader in passing yards this season with 655. He has also thrown eight touchdowns. On the ground, Hall's Jordan Bell has rushed for 370 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is LT Nembard. The Hall star has 16 catches for 313 yards.
The Blue Knights took down Rob Cersosimo's team 42-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Barmore ran for 28 yards in the win.
