The Rock County Christian Eagles put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Berean Christian on the road to the tune of 51-20. Rock County Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five games by 23 points or more this season.
Gabriel Thompson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for he. Macen Osland was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five steals.
Rock County Christian pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Berean Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock County Christian will face off against Maranatha Baptist at 7:30 a.m. on Friday. Berean Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on East Moline Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
